Rutledge Endorsed by Arkansas State Firefighters Association

July 11, 2018

LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge announced today the endorsement of the Arkansas State Firefighters Association (ASFFA).

“For nearly 100 years, the Arkansas State Firefighters Association has faithfully represented firefighters all across our great State. I was honored to receive their endorsement in 2014, and I am honored to receive it again this year. We must never overlook the selfless dedication firefighters have to their communities and their willingness to put their own lives on the line for others. It’s why I have made it a priority to provide funding for the needs and training of local fire departments statewide and have directed over fourteen-million dollars to public safety initiatives during my administration so far. As Arkansas’s Chief Law Enforcement Officer, I will continue to do everything I can to support their mission,” said Attorney General Rutledge.

In the organization’s endorsement letter, ASFFA Legislative Chairman Brad Moore wrote, “We, the Arkansas State Firefighters’ Association, are endorsing and fully supporting Attorney General Leslie Rutledge in her campaign for Re-Election. […] Her openness and willingness to support the issues that are important to the Arkansas State Firefighters’ Association makes her the candidate to support for Attorney General.”
