LITTLE ROCK - In her February fundraising finance report, Attorney General Leslie Rutledge reported $838,266 total raised and $723,942 cash on hand in her campaign to be Arkansas’s next Lieutenant Governor. “I am humbled by the outpouring of support as I travel The Natural State,” said Rutledge. “Arkansans are greatly concerned about the direction of our country, and I will use my experience to continue fighting for our constitutional rights and conservative values.”
Attorney General Rutledge entered the Lt. Governor’s race on November 10, 2021, after endorsing Sarah Huckabee Sanders for Governor. Rutledge is leading all candidates for Lt. Governor in fundraising, raising over $1.8 million during the 2022 election cycle - more than all of her primary opponents combined - and the only candidate with the resources necessary to defeat Democratic opposition in November. Polling data shows Rutledge as the clear front-runner while the other candidates are almost entirely unknown by the electorate. The Arkansas Primary Election will be held on May 24, 2022.
