Rutledge Reports over Three-Quarters of a Millon Dollars in 1st Finance Report for Lt. Governor1/18/2022
LITTLE ROCK - Attorney General Leslie Rutledge reported $769,198 in her fourth-quarter campaign finance report (covering November 10 — December 31) and her first report since launching her bid for Lieutenant Governor. “I’m so thankful for the financial support and overwhelming encouragement from Arkansans all across our great State,” said Rutledge. “Arkansas must have experienced leaders who have fought the Liberal Left and won. In 2022, Arkansans will make history by electing the first female Governor and first female Lt. Governor. I look forward to working with my long-time friend Sarah Huckabee Sanders to implement transformational changes to Make Arkansas First.”
On November 9, 2021, Rutledge announced her intent to continue her “Make Arkansas First” campaign by entering Arkansas’s Lieutenant Governor’s race. Early polling data last month showed Rutledge as the clear front-runner with well over 50% GOP support. Arkansas’s Primary Election will be held May 24, 2022.
